A stag meets your gaze head-on and pulls you straight into a world where nature and myth blur together. White roses, fuchsia blooms, and cryptic carvings frame the scene, hinting at older gods and older ways of marking the turning seasons.

Description

At the center of this piece, a stag’s steady, direct gaze anchors the entire composition, drawing the eye inward before it wanders through the surrounding details. A dragonfly is worked into a mandala-like pattern, while cryptic carvings peek out from between white roses and fuchsia blooms, blending natural and mystical elements into one cohesive scene. The overall effect evokes an older, wilder time, one tied to ancient rituals and the turning of the Winter Solstice. It’s delicate, symbolic, and rich with quiet symbolism throughout.
