Building this one feels like watching golden hour settle over the savanna, with a mother and baby giraffe standing close together against a warm, glowing sunset sky.

Description
Lynn Bean renders these two giraffes in soft, expressive watercolor, their patterned coats rendered in warm browns and creams that echo the fiery orange and red tones of the African sunset behind them. Acacia trees stand in silhouette against the glowing sky, while tall golden grass sways below, giving the whole scene a serene, painterly stillness. This 500 piece jigsaw puzzle leans into gentle color blending rather than sharp detail, making it a soothing, meditative build from start to finish. It’s a calming pick for anyone who loves wildlife art and warm, natural tones.

About the Artist
Lynn Bean is a wildlife watercolor artist based in Oregon, where life in the Ochoco Mountains and later the Sumpter Valley inspired her lifelong focus on capturing the rare, quiet moments of wild animals and birds. Originally trained in illustration in Michigan, she moved west in the late 1970s and has spent decades since painting from close, patient observation of animals in their natural surroundings. Her soft, expressive brushwork favors atmosphere and tenderness over sharp realism, a quality that comes through beautifully in this warm, sunset-lit giraffe portrait.
